Vacancy available: fettler (Ogun State)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fettler in Ijebu North, Ogun State. You will work in a non-ferrous casting shop. Day to day you will check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Six days a week, one day off.
