Brick mason — Sonoma County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a brick mason in Sonoma County, California. On a typical shift you will building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays. You should have: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. We offer $4,700 per month plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
