Now hiring: we are hiring a dogger in Randolph County, Georgia. On a typical shift you will check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites 5+ years on the tools preferred.
