Concrete shuttering carpenter — Caswell County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Caswell County, North Carolina. The job is at a precast concrete yard. You should have: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork Day-to-day duties: • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $31 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
