Track-type tractor operator — New York County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a track-type tractor operator in New York County, New York. You should have: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems On a typical shift you will strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts.
