Great opportunity: we are hiring a crane operator in Carmarthenshire, Wales. The job is at a plant hire yard. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination The role involves backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
