Decorator — Laclede County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a decorator in Laclede County, Missouri. You will be based on commercial fit-out projects. On the job you will handle: • Prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer • Carry out snagging and touch-ups before handover • Lay down dust sheets and protect floors and furniture • Sand and fill walls before applying primer • Hang lining paper and wallpaper, matching patterns at the seams • Apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller Requirements: • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec • A good eye for clean lines and an even finish • Able to mix and colour-match paints accurately Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
