Groundsman — Kaiama

Great opportunity: we are hiring a groundsman in Kaiama, Kwara State. The job is on the grounds of a hotel resort. On the job you will handle: • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed Ideal candidate: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Valid driving licence for travel between sites 2+ years on the tools preferred. ₦165,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
