Ironing operator • Lee County, Kentucky

Immediate opening: we are hiring an ironing operator in Lee County, Kentucky. You will be based in a busy laundry. Day-to-day duties: • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching Requirements: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
