Landscape gardener — Columbia County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a landscape gardener in Columbia County, Wisconsin. The job is in a residential garden complex. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage Your main tasks: • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste 3+ years on the tools preferred.
