Groundskeeper — Austin County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a groundskeeper in Austin County, Texas. You will work in a residential garden complex. Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors Your main tasks: • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads Six days a week, one day off. $170 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
