Argon welding operator wanted in Sullivan County

Join our team: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Sullivan County, Tennessee. You will work on a structural steel site. Day-to-day duties: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut What we are looking for: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
