Rigger wanted in Hamilton County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rigger in Hamilton County, Iowa. You will be based on a high-rise building site. On the job you will handle: • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces Full-time, day shift.
