Power float operator — Atoka County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a power float operator in Atoka County, Oklahoma. The role involves fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade. Requirements: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods We offer $4,500 per month plus benefits.
