Overhead (EOT) crane operator — Moody County

Join our team: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Moody County, South Dakota. You will be based on a bridge and infrastructure project. Day to day you will grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams. Ideal candidate: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts.
