Bricklayer — Surry County

Join our team: we are hiring a bricklayer in Surry County, Virginia. The role involves forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift.
