Core maker • Broome County, New York

We are recruiting: we are hiring a core maker in Broome County, New York. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. Your main tasks: • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces Requirements: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $20 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
