Sewing machine operator — Kit Carson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Kit Carson County, Colorado. You will be based on an export house sewing floor. The role involves: • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes Requirements: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens 4+ years on the tools preferred.
