TIG welder — Overton County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a TIG welder in Overton County, Tennessee. You will work in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. On a typical shift you will TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
