We are recruiting: VMC operator (Washington)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a VMC operator in Garfield County, Washington. You will be based in a toolroom. Your main tasks: • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
