Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Ifedore, Ondo State. You will work on a building construction site. What we are looking for: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE The role involves: • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour Six days a week, one day off.
