Concrete labourer — Benzie County

Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Benzie County, Michigan. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE Your main tasks: • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule Full-time with occasional weekends.
