Flatlock machine operator wanted in Hampshire County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Hampshire County, Massachusetts. You will work at a knitwear stitching unit. You should have: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching Day-to-day duties: • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
