Overlocker operator — Lancashire

Great opportunity: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Lancashire, England. On a typical shift you will operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens £1,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
