Now hiring: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Nye County, Nevada. The job is at a road-building project. Requirements: • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures On a typical shift you will keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; check for underground cables and services before digging; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles.
