Packaging machine operator — Yellowstone County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a packaging machine operator in Yellowstone County, Montana. You will work at a busy manufacturing plant. You should have: • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage On the job you will handle: • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift Full-time with occasional weekends.
