Requirements: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep You will check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; give each garment a final press before packing; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
