Ladle pourer — Bibb County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Bibb County, Georgia. You will be based in a non-ferrous casting shop. The role involves operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
