MIG welder • Gray County, Kansas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a MIG welder in Gray County, Kansas. The job is on a structural steel site. Requirements: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • ITI in welder trade or equivalent On the job you will handle: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols Full-time, day shift.
