Join our team: we are hiring a blocklayer in Stone County, Mississippi. On a typical shift you will cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge. Requirements: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) 4+ years on the tools preferred.
