Gas service engineer • Saline County, Illinois

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Saline County, Illinois. The job is at a heating and plumbing contractor. On the job you will handle: • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints Requirements: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders Part-time with flexible hours. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
