JCB operator wanted in South Tyneside

Join our team: we are hiring a JCB operator in South Tyneside, England. You will work at a road and highway construction project. You should have: • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances On a typical shift you will dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers.
