Argon welding operator • Johnson County, Kentucky

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Johnson County, Kentucky. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. On the job you will handle: • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks Ideal candidate: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
