Urgent requirement: we are hiring a power float operator in Wayne County, Georgia. You will work at a precast concrete yard. The role involves: • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength You should have: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $170 per day, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
