Furnace operator wanted in Jackson County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a furnace operator in Jackson County, Alabama. You will work in the fettling and dressing shop. You should have: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings On a typical shift you will operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Contact us to fix an interview.
