Press operator — Cherokee County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a press operator in Cherokee County, South Carolina. You will work on the press shop floor. What we are looking for: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards Day to day you will top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; set up and change stamping dies and tooling. $2,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
