Immediate opening: gantry crane operator (Georgia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in McDuffie County, Georgia. You will work at a container port and shipping yard. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts You will set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL). Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $120 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
