Cnc lathe operator — Mitchell County

Join our team: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Mitchell County, North Carolina. Day to day you will adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54). You should have: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
