Now hiring: we are hiring a bricklayer in McKinley County, New Mexico. You will cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses. What we are looking for: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
