Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete placer in Ikpoba-Okha, Edo. You will work at an infrastructure site. Your main tasks: • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet Rotating shifts.
