Power press operator wanted in Bibb County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a power press operator in Bibb County, Georgia. You will be based in a forging and pressing unit. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards On the job you will handle: • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $16 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
