Blocklayer — Hunterdon County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a blocklayer in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. The job is at a renovation and extension job. You will installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser. You should have: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Full-time with occasional weekends.
