Groundsman — Hardeman County

Now hiring: we are hiring a groundsman in Hardeman County, Tennessee. The job is in a botanical garden. You should have: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance Your main tasks: • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
