CNC milling operator — Baker County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in Baker County, Oregon. The role involves set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm. You should have: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
