Foundry labourer — Falkirk

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Falkirk, Scotland. The job is on the moulding line. Ideal candidate: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor On the job you will handle: • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
