Join our team: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Jasper County, Texas. The job is in a heavy engineering unit. The role involves maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Willing to work shifts and overtime 6+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours.
