Argon welder wanted in Jackson County

Join our team: we are hiring an argon welder in Jackson County, Oklahoma. You should have: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day The role involves: • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
