Immediate opening: paint and prep technician (Kentucky)

Now hiring: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Simpson County, Kentucky. You will work at a dealership paint shop. The role involves: • Strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun You should have: • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
