Membrane applicator • Tate County, Mississippi

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a membrane applicator in Tate County, Mississippi. You will work on flat roofs and terraces. Ideal candidate: • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges Day to day you will install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape; measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness; wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding; carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks; spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift.
