Argon welding operator — Breathitt County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Breathitt County, Kentucky. You will work in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Your main tasks: • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
